Jangseong-gun Supports Small Business Owners with 'Store Rent' Assistance... Up to 4 Million Won
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeonnam, is supporting store rent to stabilize the management of small business owners in the region.
The county announced on the 17th that it decided to support the rent of 23 stores in the second half of the year through the Small Business Owners Deliberation Committee held on the 14th.
The total support amount is 88.66 million won, and rent will be paid up to a maximum of 4 million won per business per year.
The timing of the rent payment will also be advanced as much as possible.
The county plans to complete the payment of support funds by the end of this month to quickly resolve the management difficulties of small business owners caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and rising prices.
County Governor Kim Han-jong said, “I hope that the support for store rent will help small business owners in the region to alleviate their difficulties even a little,” and added, “We will devise all possible measures that can be supported at the county level.”
Meanwhile, the county has paid the ‘Small Business Owners COVID-19 Overcoming Support Fund’ as a pledge of the 8th local government administration. By the end of last month, 2,416 small business owners were supported with 200,000 won in cash via bank transfer to promote management stability.
