The 'Korea Safety Transformation' is a safety prevention activity that simultaneously conducts safety inspections on accident-prone areas and aging facilities, removes risk factors in advance, and checks the overall safety status of society.
Namhae-gun selected major tourist sites and aging/high-risk facilities as targets, and to ensure efficient and professional safety inspections, formed a joint task force with the Namhae-gun Safety Management Advisory Group to conduct on-site inspections from August 17 to October 14.
Minor issues were corrected immediately on-site, and as a result of the inspection, it was identified that three locations require repair and reinforcement.
Accordingly, the county plans to secure supplementary budgets for public facilities to improve risk factors, and will strengthen facility safety management by monitoring management status and verifying the implementation of follow-up measures until the risk factors are resolved.
