Six Candidate Sites Selected for Second Incheon Medical Center... Final Decision Expected Within the Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Six candidate sites have been selected for the construction of the Second Incheon Medical Center.
Incheon City identified a total of nine candidate sites through demand surveys by district and county since the end of last year for the analysis of the Second Medical Center establishment. After a comprehensive evaluation, three unsuitable sites were eliminated.
The candidate sites are Unnam-dong in Jung-gu, Bullo-dong in Seo-gu, Gyulhyeon-dong in Gyeyang-gu, Sangok-dong in Bupyeong-gu, Mansu-dong in Namdong-gu, and Seonhak-dong in Yeonsu-gu.
The city plans to finalize the candidate site for the Second Medical Center within this year by forming a site selection committee including experts in medical and architectural fields.
Additionally, by February next year, the city will establish plans for the establishment and operation of the Second Medical Center and prepare for the preliminary feasibility study.
