[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lee Jong-ho, Minister of Science and ICT, expressed regret to the public on the 16th regarding the platform outage caused by the fire at SK Holdings C&C Pangyo Data Center that occurred the previous day.
On the morning of the same day at the data center, Minister Lee said, "As the minister in charge, I deeply regret the great inconvenience caused to the public by this fire incident." He added, "The government will do its utmost to restore services as quickly as possible." After inspecting the data center, he plans to hold a meeting to deliberate on measures to prevent recurrence.
