Hilton Last Train Departs... Exhibition Until December 31
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The Millennium Hilton Seoul, a 5-star hotel located in downtown Seoul, announced on the 14th that it will showcase the Hilton Train one last time before ceasing operations this year.
The Hilton Train began its first operation at the Millennium Hilton Seoul in 1995 and has since been part of year-end charity events at Hilton hotels worldwide, including Hilton Shanghai and Hilton Nagoya, delivering funds raised each year to local communities.
To commemorate this final run, Hilton has created a miniature model of the hotel’s exterior in the center of the lobby, along with a ‘Hilton Village’ exhibit that recreates nearby Namsan and Seoul N Tower.
On the same day, the Hilton Train launch event was held in the main lobby of the Millennium Hilton Seoul. Felix Busch, General Manager of the Millennium Hilton, and Timothy Sopher, former General Manager of the Millennium Hilton Seoul and Vice President of Hilton Korea, Japan, and Micronesia, attended as speakers.
Sopher said, “It is an honor to have shared precious memories with the Millennium Hilton Seoul, which has led the domestic hospitality industry for over 40 years and boasts historical value. On this meaningful day marking the final run of the Hilton Train, I sincerely thank everyone who has loved not only the Hilton Train but also the Millennium Hilton Seoul.”
