Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam hosted the "26th Senior Citizens' Day Commemoration Event" organized by the Changwon Branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the morning of the 14th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the '26th Senior Citizens' Day Commemoration Event' at the Changwon Convention Center, organized by the Korea Senior Citizens Association Changwon Branch.
The commemorative ceremony, marking its 26th year, was attended by An Gyeong-won, 1st Vice Mayor of Changwon Special City, city council members, Kim Gu-su, President of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Masan Branch, Bae Shin-gi, President of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Jinhae Branch, senior association officials, and about 800 local elders. The event proceeded with the reading of the Senior Citizens' Charter and the Senior Citizens' Pledge, followed by commendations for meritorious persons.
At the event, certificates and plaques of commendation were presented to 15 exemplary seniors and contributors to senior welfare who have worked hard for the development of senior welfare.
