[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Lee Mi-kyung, Vice Chairman of CJ Group, will receive the 'Pillar Award' at the Gala Icon Awards hosted by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in the United States.
According to CJ ENM on the 13th, Lee was selected as the recipient of the Pillar Award. She is scheduled to attend the awards ceremony on the 15th (local time). This award is given to producers who have contributed to the development of culture and the arts.
Lee is recognized for founding CJ ENM, a subsidiary of CJ Group, and leading the domestic popular culture industry including film, broadcasting, and musicals. She also served as the executive producer for "Decision to Leave" and "Broker," which won the Best Director and Best Actor awards at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
