Jangseong Police Station Holds Regular Meeting of Security Advisory Council
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] The Jangseong Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Im Jihwan) announced on the 13th that it held the 2022 second half Security Advisory Council regular meeting on the 11th at the 2nd-floor conference room of the Jangseong Police Station.
The meeting was attended by about 20 people, including Kim Yongtae, chairman of the Security Advisory Council, members, and police station chiefs.
During the meeting, they introduced the expansion of CCTV installation, which is part of the Jangseong Police Station’s key initiative “Making Jangseong Safe,” along with activities to prevent traffic fatal accidents and crimes targeting North Korean defectors and foreigners, and had a meaningful time discussing various measures to realize community policing in the region.
Chief Im Jihwan said, “I thank the many members of the Security Advisory Council who spare no effort in supporting both materially and spiritually in various ways, including visiting marginalized groups in the community such as North Korean defectors and multicultural families in the jurisdiction.”
He added, “I ask for active cooperation in ‘Making Jangseong Safe’ together with the military and citizens, centered on the Security Advisory Council.”
