Hongcheon-gun Supports 'Jeonse Loan Interest' for Newlywed Couples Without Housing
Up to 3% of Jeonse Loan Balance, Maximum 3 Million KRW per Household Annually
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province, announced on the 12th that it will support interest on housing jeonse loan funds to alleviate the housing cost burden of newlyweds and create stable residential conditions.
The 'Newlywed Housing Jeonse Loan Interest Support Project' is a system that supports up to 3 million KRW per household once a year within 3% of the outstanding balance of the jeonse loan for newlyweds.
The target is newlywed households without a house within 7 years from the date of marriage registration, where both spouses (including minor children) are registered residents of Hongcheon-gun, and the combined annual income must be 80 million KRW or less.
However, basic livelihood security recipients and public rental housing residents are excluded from the support target.
