[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Baegam Office of Naejangsan National Park under the Korea National Park Service announced on the 11th that it will conduct a 'pre-announced intensive crackdown' in anticipation of an increase in illegal and disorderly acts due to the surge in visitors during the peak autumn season.
The targets of this 'pre-announced intensive crackdown' include cooking, smoking, illegal parking, bringing pets, and harvesting forest products (acorns, mushrooms). Violators will be fined according to the Natural Parks Act.
The intensive crackdown period will be from the 24th of this month to November 13th.
