A Man in His 50s Arrested for Stabbing Acquaintance with a Weapon Over Being Ignored
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 50s was arrested by the police for stabbing an acquaintance with a weapon because he felt disrespected.
On the 11th, the Jongam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested Mr. A (59) on suspicion of attempted murder the previous day.
Mr. A stabbed the victim in the shoulder with a weapon at a health center located in Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, at around 8:45 PM the previous day. It is known that Mr. A committed the impulsive crime because he thought the victim was ignoring him during their conversation.
The police arrested Mr. A at the scene at around 8:55 PM on the same day. The victim sustained serious injuries but is reported to be in stable condition.
