Pastor Lee Young-hoon Succeeds Pastor Cho Yong-gi as President of the International Church Growth Institute
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Pastor Lee Young-hoon of Yoido Full Gospel Church was unanimously appointed as the president of the Church Growth International (CGI). He will lead CGI, which consists of pastors and church growth scholars from 25 countries around the world, succeeding Pastor Cho Yong-gi.
According to Yoido Full Gospel Church, CGI held an extraordinary board meeting on the 6th at the Grand Ballroom of the Millennium Hilton Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul, where this decision was made. Pastor Lee Young-hoon will officially take office at the board meeting held on the 10th.
CGI was established in November 1976 by Pastor Cho Yong-gi to share the growth secrets of Yoido Full Gospel Church with churches worldwide and to promote church growth globally. It has held over 600 church growth-related conferences annually or biennially in major cities of more than 100 countries, including Seoul.
This year, until the 10th, the ‘2022 Board Conference’ is being held at Yoido Full Gospel Church under the theme ‘Pentecostal Revival of the Next Generation.’
