This is the first time that a group of Japanese tourists has visited the Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort, which opened in December 2020.
The Japanese fam tour group visiting Jeju at the invitation of Jeju Tourism Organization and T'way Air consisted of 150 people, including journalists from major Japanese media outlets such as Yomiuri, Mainichi, Asahi, and Chunichi Shimbun, travel agency officials, and influencers with 100,000 to 400,000 subscribers. Miru Shiroma, a former Japanese idol who proudly identifies herself as an ardent Hallyu fan, also participated.
On the first day, the Japanese fam tour group toured the rooms, casino, food and beverage (F&B) facilities, outdoor pool deck, and the 38th-floor sky lounge within the Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort. Separately, 39 Japanese casino VIPs invited by Jeju Dream Tower visited the Dream Tower Casino.

Lotte Tour Development stated, “The demand for visits to Korea by Japanese tourists, which had been suppressed due to COVID-19, seems to be at an explosive level. We expect that when the air route fully opens in November, many Japanese tourists, including casino VIPs like this group, will visit the Jeju Dream Tower, which has become a new landmark.”
