According to the court on the 30th, Judge Lee In-gyu of the Civil Division 50 at the Seoul Central District Court recently ruled against the plaintiff in the damages lawsuit filed by the National Revolutionary Party against former President Moon, former Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, former National Police Agency Commissioner Kim Chang-ryong, and former Seoul Police Commissioner Choi Kwan-ho.
The National Revolutionary Party filed a lawsuit demanding 10 million won on August 11 last year, stating that "Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum and Mayor Oh Se-hoon openly threatened by saying they would strictly punish those involved in assemblies, aiming to completely prohibit the people's political freedom of expression."

The court ruled, "The defendants' actions were only in accordance with the Level 4 social distancing measures, and it is difficult to see that they threatened the plaintiff or abused their authority," adding, "The protest planned by the plaintiff anticipated many participants, as indicated by the slogan '10 million people solo protest walking movement,' and it is difficult to consider it a solo protest permitted under Level 4 social distancing."
