Expectations for Improved Objectivity and Fairness through Pledge Fulfillment Evaluation
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that on the 22nd, it held an appointment ceremony for the 8th term public pledge implementation evaluation committee and a practical plan briefing session at the small conference room of the county office.
The event, divided into two parts, began with the appointment ceremony of 25 members appointed as the 8th term public pledge implementation evaluation committee in the first part. The second part involved listening to the roles of the evaluation committee members, followed by each department head reporting the practical plans for the pledges to the committee members and sharing opinions on the pledge contents.
The evaluation team will work on implementing communication administration through collecting residents' opinions related to the pledges, reviewing supplementary or revised practical plans, evaluating the progress and implementation status of the pledges, and proposing improvements related to pledge promotion to further enhance the trust of the residents.
Boseong-gun plans to disclose the status of the pledges quarterly after finalizing them and conduct an annual evaluation of pledge implementation to ensure objectivity and fairness in pledge management.
Kim Cheol-woo, the mayor of Boseong-gun, said, "Pledges are promises to the residents about the vision of how our county will carry out administration in the future," and added, "I ask you to critically evaluate and watch over the projects that will be completed together with the residents."
The 8th term public pledges of Boseong-gun consist of 81 tasks across five major areas: ▲ Welfare without exclusion and reliable administration, ▲ Prosperous agriculture, forestry, livestock, and fisheries for all, ▲ Attractive culture, sports, and tourism, ▲ Safe residents and a vibrant local economy, and ▲ Balanced development through regional development by zones. The pledges will be supplemented and revised by reflecting the opinions gathered at this briefing session and will be finally confirmed and disclosed on the website by September.
