Traditional Culture Education Center Exhibition 'Tradition, Embracing Color' Held
Presenting Seventy-Two Trainee Works Including Dancheong and Embroidery
The Traditional Culture Education Center of Korea National University of Cultural Heritage will hold an exhibition titled "Tradition, Embracing Color" at the Art Gallery of Gangdong Art Center in Seoul from the 28th to the 2nd of next month.
This is the first event organized by the Seoul Learning Center of the Traditional Culture Education Center. It showcases seventy-two works created by thirty-seven trainees who participated in traditional craft experience courses such as Dancheong and embroidery.
Last year, the Traditional Culture Education Center launched a traditional culture social education program for the general public. The trainees completed their works and portfolios after about four months of training.

The exhibition title, "Tradition, Embracing Color," was selected through the "Gwanghwamun 1st Street" contest. A representative of the education center explained, "The planning, composition, and operation of the exhibition were all carried out with the public, fully embodying the purpose of traditional culture social education."
