Mizuno JPX923 Series "Swing DNA Analysis of 350,000 Golfers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hee-jun] “Completing diverse engineering with three materials.”
Korea Mizuno officially launches the new model JPX923 series (photo) of the global steady seller JPX series. This new product, released after two years, is the result of analyzing the swings of 350,000 golfers accumulated through Mizuno's proprietary putting program, Shaft Optimizer 3D. It focuses on different ‘swing DNA’ to respond to various performances from tour pros to amateur golfers.
The biggest core is the upgraded Stability Frame and the newly applied V Chassis. The Stability Frame distributes weight so that the head can have a single outer frame on the effective hitting surface. It improves shot accuracy and shows excellent control performance even on off-center shots. The V Chassis, which increases the stiffness of the top edge, helps achieve an ideal ball flight and provides a smooth hitting feel.

The head, which utilizes three materials according to golfers' swing types, is also a feature. The lineup consists of four types: Tour, Forged, Hot Metal, and Hot Metal Pro. The first is selected high-purity mild steel 1025E, used in the Tour irons, which are the epitome of accuracy and hitting feel. The second is Chromoly 4120, applied to Forged irons along with mild steel 1025E, providing sensitive shot control and forgiveness. Lastly, the high-strength Chromoly 4335+ material, which is 35% stronger than the previous model, is applied to Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro. It pursues ease of use through excellent distance performance and club lightweighting.
