Celltrion Group Provides Livelihood Support to Vulnerable Families in Incheon and Chungbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Celltrion Group announced on the 23rd that it has provided support to 14 vulnerable households in Incheon and Chungbuk regions, where its major business sites are located, and has supported a total of 141 households this year with goods and financial aid.
The Celltrion Welfare Foundation, which is responsible for sponsorship and support projects within Celltrion Group, has been conducting support programs since 2006 for vulnerable households such as elderly living alone, single-parent families, grandparent-headed families, and unmarried or early-marriage families who have difficulty maintaining daily life. Over the past 10 years, it has supported a total of 3,806 households with approximately 1.2 billion KRW worth of aid. Selected households, chosen in consultation with local governments, received essential home appliances, childcare products, housing costs, and living expenses directly needed for daily life.
Recently, the Celltrion Welfare Foundation has launched a new support project in collaboration with the Incheon Crime Victim Support Center to provide daily necessities, including diapers, to children who have been victims of crime. The Incheon Crime Victim Support Center was established to provide legal assistance and medical services to crime victims and is composed of experts from various fields such as the legal, medical, and academic sectors.
