Seoul Downtown Kidnapping Victim... Arrested on Drug Use Charges

On the 23rd, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that on the 15th, they had sent male A and his girlfriend B to the prosecution under custody on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances).
The police detected suspicions that A had used drugs and conducted drug tests on A and B. When both tested positive, the police reportedly arrested A and B.
On the 15th of last month, around 12:20 a.m., A was kidnapped in Munbae-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, by a vehicle carrying four men. A escaped by jumping out of the vehicle while it was driving around Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Two of the suspects who kidnapped A were sent to the prosecution under custody on the same day on charges including robbery.
