"SNS Creators Become Sellers" Jelly Crew Opens Store in Times Square
SNS Activity Creators Participate as Sellers
Store Interior Also Targeting MZ Generation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Handhug announced on the 22nd that the creator commerce platform 'Jelly Crew' has opened a store on the B1 floor of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
Jelly Crew is a commerce platform where creators active on social networking services (SNS) participate as sellers. It is rapidly growing by expanding creators' brands not only online but also offline. Currently, about 370 teams are active as sellers, and at the same time, it operates over 250 directly managed consignment stores nationwide and 7 offline stores. Various character products, including stationery such as stickers and memo pads, as well as living goods like phone accessories, slippers, and rugs, can be purchased both online and offline.
The newly opened Jelly Crew Times Square store is decorated with a soft interior featuring rounded curves to reflect a brand image targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), unlike existing stores. In addition, a separate corner has been set up to showcase products from creators affiliated with Jelly Crew, enhancing shopping convenience.
Also, until the 30th of this month, an event is being held offering an additional 5% discount and double points accumulation upon membership registration. Visitors to the store can also receive stickers by posting an Instagram certification shot with a hashtag.
