On the 20th, Kim stated on his social network service (SNS), "Lee, who consistently offers insincere apologies to the victim's family for his inappropriate conduct and does not seek genuine forgiveness, is engaging in a highly deceptive hypocrisy by ordering strict disciplinary action against others who have committed similar crimes," expressing his criticism.
Lee recently ordered strict disciplinary action against a Democratic Party-affiliated Seoul city council member who said, "It seems like a violent response because the person I liked did not accept me." In response, Kim criticized, "Perhaps fearing that his nephew's murder case would be re-examined, Lee's first statement after several days of the Sindang Station incident was very inappropriate, maintaining an incomprehensible silence."
Kim said, "While the city council member should naturally be disciplined, at the very least, Lee should have first offered a sincere apology for his secondary harm," pointing out that Lee's characterization of the murder committed by his nephew last year as 'dating violence' constituted secondary harm to the bereaved family.
He added, "At the time, Lee said, 'There is no intention to conceal the incident by calling it dating violence,' and 'I apologize for the hurt caused by my immature expression,' as if apologizing, but it was only words," and continued, "In a response submitted to the court 51 days after the lawsuit was filed, Lee denied all the plaintiff's claims, demonstrating a clear discrepancy between his words and actions."

You were so quick to say you were 'surprised' about the budget for the new state guesthouse necessary for hosting a state guest, but you remain indifferent to the Sindang Station station worker murder case, which is incomprehensible."

He added, "If Lee is silent about the Sindang Station incident, which has sparked national outrage, out of concern that his nephew's murder case might be re-examined, then he is a person who is too cold-hearted and solely driven by political calculations."
