Vietnam E-commerce Company TiKi and SME Online Export Support Agreement

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee Young, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 18th that they will expand support for online exports of domestic SMEs by partnering with the Vietnamese e-commerce company TiKi (hereinafter TiKi).
On the 16th, SBC and TiKi signed a "Business Agreement for Establishing a Global Cooperation Foundation" in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Since its establishment in 2010, TiKi has established itself as a leading Vietnamese e-commerce company with strengths in diverse products and fast delivery. It is rapidly growing by operating mobile services and a logistics center spanning 80,000㎡.
Through this agreement, both organizations will cooperate to support the entire process from onboarding excellent domestic SMEs onto TiKi's online shopping mall to product promotion and sales. Specifically, SBC will discover and recommend outstanding companies and products, and support product page creation, marketing, and consulting through the global shopping mall entry and sales project. TiKi will cooperate in supporting shopping mall entry, planning and operating joint promotions, and providing sales performance data. Additionally, both organizations will continue mutual exchanges such as sharing e-commerce market information and expertise.

Kim Moon-hwan, Head of Global Growth Division at SBC, said, "The Vietnamese e-commerce market ranked fourth in Southeast Asia last year, and we expect online exports to be activated through this agreement with TiKi," adding, "We will actively support excellent domestic SMEs to successfully enter the Southeast Asian market."
