Busan City Holds Donation Ceremony for Typhoon Hinnamnor Relief... Goryeo Steel Donates 100 Million Won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 16th, Busan City, Korea Steel, and the Busan Community Chest of Korea held a donation ceremony for support funds for damage caused by Typhoon No. 11 ‘Hinnamnor’ at the city hall protocol room.
The ceremony was attended by Park Hyung-joon, Mayor of Busan, Lee Imoon, Vice Chairman of Korea Steel, and Choi Geumsik, Chairman of the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
At the ceremony, Korea Steel donated 100 million KRW to the Busan Community Chest of Korea to support low-income groups vulnerable to natural disasters such as Typhoon ‘Hinnamnor’ that passed through Busan on the 6th.
The donation will be fully provided by the Busan Community Chest of Korea to vulnerable groups exposed to disaster risks in the Busan area.
Mayor Park Hyung-joon of Busan said, “We expect that this donation will deliver warm hearts to residents vulnerable to disasters who are experiencing difficulties,” and added, “Our city will also take more meticulous care of welfare for disaster-vulnerable groups.”
Korea Steel provides a complex cultural space to Busan citizens through the recycled and eco-friendly cultural factory ‘F1963’.
