Gwangju Education Superintendent Election Camp Official Booked on 'Meal Provision Allegation'

The Anti-Corruption and Economic Crime Investigation Unit of the Gwangju Police Agency announced on the 16th that they have opened an investigation without detention into campaign officials and supporters of Lee Jeong-seon on charges of third-party donation under the Public Official Election Act.
The Election Commission reported that these individuals provided meals to voters during the last local election process and filed a complaint with the prosecution, which was then referred to the police.
The Election Commission is also known to have submitted video evidence.
