At this event, Samsung Medison will exhibit the premium ultrasound diagnostic device for obstetrics and gynecology, 'HERA W10,' equipped with the AI diagnostic solution 'Intelligent Assist,' as well as the advanced models 'V8' and 'V7,' which can be used in various medical departments.
In particular, the V7, released in June this year, will be showcased for the first time at ISUOG. Samsung Medison introduced the V7 following the V8 to enable small and medium-sized hospitals to use ultrasound devices equipped with AI diagnostic assistance functions of premium diagnostic devices without burden.
The 'V' stands for 'Versatile,' meaning it can be used in various medical departments such as obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, orthopedics, and cardiology. It is a product aimed at actively targeting the advanced market, including the representative functions provided by premium ultrasound diagnostic devices. The diagnostic assistance functions of the two products, V8 and V7, are the same, with differences only in image resolution.
Additionally, Samsung Medison will hold a symposium to present medical professionals' research results on the clinical usefulness of AI diagnostic assistance functions such as 'BiometryAssist,' which measures fetal growth and development status, and 'HeartAssist,' which helps diagnose the fetal heart.
Notably, the London symposium venue will be connected live with Italy's Gemelli University Hospital to vividly demonstrate collaboration among medical professionals. The demonstration will apply the 'SonoSync' solution, which overcomes spatial limitations of ultrasound device usage, showcasing features such as real-time ultrasound image sharing, voice chat, and remote measurement.
Furthermore, various programs will be operated to allow direct and indirect experience of high-performance ultrasound imaging diagnostic techniques such as 'MV-Flow,' suitable for observing micro blood flow and low-speed blood flow, and 'LumiFlow,' which displays blood flow three-dimensionally.
