TmaxSoft-Tech Mahindra Collaborate on Digital Transformation of Japanese Manufacturing Industry
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] TmaxSoft is accelerating the expansion of its overseas digital transformation (DT) business by partnering with global companies.
On the 13th, TmaxSoft's Japan branch announced that it has signed a partnership with the global SI (system integration) company Tech Mahindra to collaborate on 'mainframe modernization and cloud migration projects,' supporting the digital transformation of Japanese manufacturing companies.
Tech Mahindra, a subsidiary of India's Mahindra Group, possesses next-generation technologies such as 5G, blockchain, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI), along with approximately 150,000 IT professionals across about 90 countries.
The two companies aim to promote projects that help Japanese manufacturing firms using existing IT systems achieve cloud migration at lower costs.
TmaxSoft plans to provide products and services that assist Japanese manufacturing companies in cloud-based digital transformation together with Tech Mahindra, leveraging its extensive experience in modernizing mainframes for financial institutions, public organizations, and enterprises across the US, Asia, and Europe through its flagship software 'OpenFrame,' and its proven track record of stable cloud migration.
