A was prosecuted for secretly entering a villa in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, at around 1:25 a.m. on December 17 last year, stealing valuables, and stabbing B (80) multiple times in the abdomen and arm with a weapon, causing injuries after B woke up.
Earlier that day, at around 12:30 a.m., while intoxicated in a taxi, he provoked a quarrel by saying, "Let's crash into the car ahead and die together," and assaulted the driver by strangling his neck from the back seat.
The court stated, "The defendant forcibly took valuables from an elderly victim and inflicted multiple injuries," adding, "The culpability is quite serious."
