Bus Collides with Oil Tank Fallen on Road in Mexico... At Least 14 Dead
[Asia Economy International Desk Reporter] On the 10th (local time), a bus traveling on a highway in the northeastern area of Mexico City, Mexico, collided with an oil tank that had fallen from a preceding truck, resulting in at least 14 deaths.
According to local media, the accident occurred early that morning on the Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas to Linares, Nuevo Le?n section. The bus carrying tourists and others was unable to avoid the collision with the oil tank containing over 30,000 liters of highly flammable fuel that had fallen from the truck ahead, causing a large fire.

At least 14 people, including bus passengers, are reported dead in the accident. The exact identities, including nationality and gender, of the deceased have not been confirmed. The bus had departed the previous evening from Huejutla de Reyes, Hidalgo, heading toward Monterrey, Nuevo Le?n. Police are controlling the accident site and investigating the exact cause of the accident.
