Baek Jong-han, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Joins Effort to Eradicate Illegal Political Banners During Holidays
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Baek Jong-han, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, joined efforts to eradicate illegal banners by politicians that proliferate during holidays.
Councilor Baek recently sought voluntary consent from fellow council members to eliminate 'illegal political banners.'
He stated, “At a critical time when we must advance toward the macro goal of carbon neutrality, the proliferation of illegal banners that are difficult to recycle is detrimental to urban aesthetics and environmental conservation. I will take the lead in promoting a proper holiday culture policy that replaces illegal banners with sharing warmth and support with neighbors in need.”
Meanwhile, on the 7th, Councilor Baek visited a local day care center and delivered consolation gifts including rice.
