Apple iPhone 14 Price Likely to Rise by $100... Samsung to Benefit?
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] There is a forecast that the price of Apple's new smartphone, the iPhone 14, will increase by $100 compared to last year.
According to foreign media on the 6th, the prices of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are expected to reach $1,099 and $1,199, respectively. For the iPhone 13 released last year, the US retail price for the 128GB model was $999 for the Pro and $1,099 for the Pro Max. This means the price gap between the basic iPhone model and the Pro model will widen from the previous $200 to $300.
This contrasts with Samsung Electronics, which froze prices while releasing new products this year. Samsung set the prices of the Galaxy Z Flip4 ($999.99) and Galaxy Z Fold4 ($1,799) at the same level as the previous year.
