▲ Chairman Kim Jin-bu conducted inspections divided into three zones: Jinju, Tongyeong, Sacheon, Goseong, Namhae, Hadong, Sancheong, Hamyang, Geochang, and Hapcheon areas ▲ First Vice Chairman Choi Hak-beom inspected Gimhae, Geoje, and Yangsan areas ▲ Second Vice Chairman Kang Yong-beom covered Changwon, Miryang, Uiryeong, Haman, and Changnyeong areas.
Chairman Kim, along with provincial council members from the respective areas, continuously checked the typhoon damage situation and oversaw the visits to the affected sites, personally visiting Jinju, Gimhae, Miryang, and Yangsan areas.
Chairman Kim requested that council members from areas not visited by the chairmanship personally visit the damage sites and listen to the needs of the residents.
Chairman Kim stated, “Although we expected significant damage from Typhoon Hinnamnor, it is fortunate that major damage was prevented due to the calm response of the residents; however, damage occurred in various parts of the province. While there was some hesitation from the council’s side to visit the busy recovery sites immediately after the damage occurred, we decided to visit the sites directly to listen to the difficulties faced by the affected farmers and to provide faster support.”
