After receiving a report on the response status and damage situation, Governor Kim said, "The staff have worked hard in preparation for the typhoon," and ordered, "Do not let your guard down until everything is fully normalized, and take good care of the flooded areas and those who have suffered damage."
As of 9 a.m. that day, typhoon warnings were issued for Icheon, Yeoju, and Anseong in Gyeonggi Province, and strong wind warnings were issued for Pyeongtaek, Siheung, Ansan, Gimpo, and Hwaseong. Additionally, a high wave warning was in effect for the entire central West Sea.
The area with the heaviest rainfall was Gapyeong, recording 247.5mm. This was followed by Yangpyeong with 238.5mm, Pocheon with 234.5mm, and Namyangju with 226mm.
According to the damage status compiled so far, there was one casualty: a pedestrian sustained minor injuries when a signboard fell in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung City.
Damage to public facilities included two cases of soil runoff and 94 cases of street trees falling, totaling 96 cases, all of which have been addressed. In Gwangju, one house was flooded, and in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, nine people from two households evacuated to the village hall and other places due to collapse risk.
Currently, 170 locations in the province are under control, including 20 roads, 79 low-water bridges, 32 riverside parking lots, 35 riverside walking trails, and 4 parks.
Earlier, the province activated the highest disaster management level, Emergency Level 3, at 1 p.m. on the 5th for preemptive response. Active publicity and pre-evacuation were conducted in preparation for casualties and flooding of low-lying houses, along with inspections and surveillance activities in habitual flood zones.

Governor Kim especially gave special instructions on the 2nd to thoroughly manage safety in all 31 cities and counties. On the 4th, he also visited the Suwon drainage pump station and the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters to check the on-site response system.
