Any university student residing in Pohang can apply to be a Moderation Supporter, who will carry out online and offline promotional activities to spread a culture of moderation and prevent alcohol-related harm within the local community and universities until November.
Selected supporters will participate in various alcohol-related education sessions and meetings, receive support for campaign activity materials, be credited with volunteer hours through the 1365 Volunteer Center, receive incentives, and be recommended for commendations from local governments as outstanding volunteers.
Park Hyekyung, director of Buk-gu Public Health Center, said, "We expect the university student Moderation Supporters to play a positive role in fostering a culture of moderation in the community and universities," adding, "We will actively work towards a Pohang free from alcohol-related harm."
