Seoul City to Operate Experiential Content Featuring 'Yulgok-ro Palace Wall Road' Background Starting from the 6th
Mission Tour-Type Immersive Content 'Mugunghwa Kkoci Pieotseumnida' Opened
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will start operating from the 6th a mission-tour type immersive content called ‘Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed,’ set against the backdrop of Anguk Station and the Yulgok-ro area.
In line with the concept of faction (Fact+Fiction), which combines history and story, participants solve various missions by moving between reality and virtuality against the backdrop of historical sites in the Yulgok-ro area. Participants communicate across time and space through a diary with a fictional character who is worried because a friend who went to play ‘Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed’ has not returned, and together they deduce and complete missions. By actively utilizing the historical and cultural resources of Yulgok-ro and Bukchon areas, participants are encouraged to reflect on the significance of restoring the ‘Yulgok-ro Palace Wall Road (Changgyeonggung~Jongmyo).’
The interactive content ‘Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed,’ which combines the latest immersive technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and web view with the story of the space, can be directly experienced on-site at Yulgok-ro by downloading the Real World application from the App Store or Play Store, and it is free to use for two months after opening.
