According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the typhoon is expected to move over the sea about 460 km south-southwest of Seogwipo at 9 a.m. on the 5th, approach the sea about 30 km east of Seogwipo at 3 a.m. on the 6th, and dissipate as an extratropical cyclone over the East Sea on the 7th.
Accordingly, Yeongam-gun held an emergency meeting to prepare for typhoon ‘Hinnamdo’ and carried out rainstorm countermeasures and preemptive measures against strong winds by sector.
As a preemptive measure to achieve zero casualties, on-site inspections were strengthened in ▲landslide risk areas ▲habitual flooding zones ▲steep slopes. In particular, early harvesting of crops was encouraged, and plastic greenhouses were secured, with agricultural facilities also inspected.
