Cushman & Wakefield Launches '3D Virtual Real Estate Tour Service'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Taemin] Global real estate consulting firm Cushman & Wakefield Korea announced that it has adopted Metaport's three-dimensional (3D) virtual tour solution and is providing 3D real estate tour services to commercial real estate investors.
Metaport's artificial intelligence (AI)-based visualization technology scans existing spaces and reproduces them in digital form. This "digital twin" is utilized in various ways within the commercial real estate industry. For example, detailed floor plans and 3D models enable virtual real estate tours, providing potential tenants or investors with an accurate sense of the space's scale and on-site presence.
Additionally, Cushman explained that this can aid investment decision-making and save time. According to the company, among Metaport's commercial real estate clients, those who used the digital twin platform completed transactions on average more than 85% faster.
Cushman & Wakefield Korea currently offers Metaport 3D virtual tours for all its owned assets. The solution was first introduced in March, and over 90 3D videos have been filmed to date.
Benjamin Koser, President and Managing Director of Metaport Asia Pacific, said, "The commercial real estate sector in Korea is considered one of the most competitive fields, so companies must constantly differentiate themselves to attract customers. Metaport's technology excels in delivering immersive videos that are easy to operate."
