[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongbuk Technopark has achieved the highest grade (S grade) for two consecutive years in the ‘2022 Technopark Management Performance Evaluation (2021 performance evaluation)’ conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups targeting 19 Technoparks nationwide.
Gyeongbuk TP proved itself as the nation’s top-level Technopark by achieving the highest grade (S grade) for two consecutive years in the 2022 management performance evaluation following 2021.
In this management performance evaluation, it achieved the highest grade (S grade) by obtaining top-level evaluation scores nationwide for each indicator.
In particular, it is known to have earned high scores through ▲establishing a corporate support system according to company growth stages ▲formulating management strategies based on central and local government policies ▲and efforts for flexible organizational operation in response to environmental changes.
Gyeongbuk TP attributed its good results in this year’s evaluation, following last year, to the clear achievements demonstrated in business operations throughout the year.
In the ‘Regional Industry Promotion Project Evaluation’ conducted annually targeting 14 city and provincial local governments, it received the highest grade (S grade) for three consecutive years, accumulating a total of 5.3 billion KRW in national subsidies incentives.
It also showed outstanding results as the only one nationwide in the government’s key projects such as smart factory establishment and regulatory free zone operation.
Additionally, by achieving the highest grade (S grade) for three consecutive years in the ‘Smart Factory Distribution and Expansion Project Performance Evaluation,’ it proved its undisputed competitiveness in smart manufacturing innovation.
Furthermore, in the ‘Regulatory Free Zone Operation Performance Evaluation,’ the next-generation battery recycling regulatory free zone was selected as an excellent zone for three consecutive years.
