National Pension Sharing Foundation Delivers Sponsored Goods to Namwon Senior Welfare Center

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] The National Pension Sharing Foundation (Chairman Kim Shin-yeol) announced on the 2nd that it delivered sponsored goods to the Namwon Senior Welfare Center (Director Jang Jin-seok) on the 1st in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

The Namwon Senior Welfare Center received a sponsorship of 25 boxes of apples, a fruit symbolizing a bountiful Chuseok, under the slogan "Sharing Blessings for Chuseok with the National Pension Service." Some of these will be given to about 200 elderly people using the welfare center's senior dining hall on the day, and some will be delivered to vulnerable elderly people before the holiday.

The National Pension Sharing Foundation supports many social welfare institutions annually through the "National Pension Card Fund Support Project."

This year, it also generously supported a natural cosmetics craft program for National Pension recipients using the Namwon Senior Welfare Center, allowing the cosmetics made to be shared with participating elderly and marginalized elderly individuals.

The Namwon Senior Welfare Center has signed a business agreement with the National Pension Service Gwangju Regional Headquarters Retirement Preparation Center to actively support the "Retirement Planning Project" for not only the elderly using the welfare center but also for the healthy retirement life of Namwon citizens.

A representative of the National Pension Sharing Foundation said, "This event provided an opportunity to deliver warm comfort to the elderly at the welfare center, who had been hesitant due to COVID-19," and added, "Going forward, the National Pension Sharing Foundation and the Namwon Senior Welfare Center will devote their utmost efforts to improving the welfare of the elderly in the local community."
