Changwon Special City Holds First Regular Assembly of the 8th Elected Term and Conducts Integrity Education
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a regular staff meeting and urged all employees to work together to realize "Changwon as the Northeast Asia Central City."

Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "We have set the administrative goals as the No. 1 place of the 4th Industrial Revolution, one of the world's four major beautiful harbors, one of the world's seven major port logistics cities, and the second largest regional central city in Korea. As the leading city of Gyeongnam with infinite potential, we will join forces with the staff to make Changwon the Northeast Asia central city."
This regular assembly was held with a limited number of participants due to the resurgence of COVID-19, and employees from distant district offices and eup/myeon/dong offices were allowed to participate online.
Also, after the regular assembly, the city invited Jeong Gyeong-hwa, a staff member from the Audit Office of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, to conduct "Anti-corruption and Integrity Education" to foster a clean public service culture in the 8th civil election term.
This education focused on various anti-corruption laws closely related to public service life, especially emphasizing the recently revised Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials.
