Hansot Introduces Two New September Menu Items: Avocado Myeongran Bibimbap Varieties
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hansot announced on the 1st that it will launch two limited-quantity new menu items in September, the ‘Avocado Myeongran Bibimbap’ series.
The Avocado Myeongran Bibimbap comes in two varieties: ‘Avocado Beef Myeongran Bibimbap’ and ‘Avocado Crab Stick Myeongran Bibimbap,’ allowing customers to enjoy choosing according to their preference.
Avocado is one of the top 10 superfoods selected by Time magazine in the U.S. and is registered in the Guinness World Records as the most nutritious fruit in the world. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, dietary fiber, and minerals, providing a feeling of fullness while being low in calories, earning it the nickname ‘butter of the forest.’
The Avocado Myeongran Bibimbap features whole ‘Hass’ avocados, the representative variety from Peru, a major avocado-producing country, maximizing its soft and savory taste. In addition to fresh avocado, healthy ingredients such as beef or crab sticks, egg garnish strips, chicory, and tomatoes harmoniously blend together to offer a light yet hearty and nutritious meal. Furthermore, the salty-tasting myeongran mayo sauce and the special lemon soy sauce, characterized by its sweet and sour flavor and refreshing aroma, complement the rich avocado to enhance the overall flavor.
The price for both varieties is 6,500 won.

A Hansot representative said, “With the recent surge in interest in health management led by the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), including trends like ‘low-carb high-fat’ and ‘healthy pleasure,’ we have introduced a new menu using avocado, which is also gaining attention as a vegan ingredient. Amid soaring dining-out prices, we expect this menu, offered at a ‘half-price’ level, to become a popular choice among office workers and students who find lunch expenses burdensome.”
