Autumn Festivals Abound Throughout Donghae City During September

There are a total of five festivals scheduled in Donghae City throughout September. The city expects these events to revitalize the local economy through increased tourist visits.
From September 2nd for two days, the 'Makgeolli Festival,' which combines the stories and culture of Songjeong with Makgeolli as the medium, will be held at Donghae Station Plaza.
To celebrate the Chuseok holiday, on the 3rd, the 'Jangheung Gogak Tago (Drum Beating) Experience Event' and the final performance of the 5th Bukpyeong Folk Market Customer Song Festival will take place at Bukpyeong Folk Five-Day Market.
After the Chuseok holiday, from the 17th for two days, the 3rd Donghae City 'Lifelong Learning Ae愛, Book Culture (Book 風)' Festival will continue at Donghae Gymnasium, featuring over 60 programs including games, crafts, and performances.
In particular, the representative festival of Donghae City, 'Donghae Mureungje,' which will conclude the September festivals, will be held for three days starting on the 23rd at Donghae Well-being Sports Town.
The city plans to present programs that will delight the eyes and ears of tourists at this event, held for the first time in three years.
