The city received 4,034 applications, accounting for 61% of eligible compensation recipients, through application submissions at six local administrative welfare centers from January to February this year. After reviewing the applications, 3,786 people (including 45 objections) were approved as compensation recipients.
The highest number of applications came from Cheongnim-dong, adjacent to the K3 military airfield, with 1,664 cases, followed by Donghae-myeon with 1,031, Indeok-dong with 900, Ocheon-eup with 356, Janggi-myeon with 73, and Heunghae-eup with 10 cases.

Applicants who filed objections to the compensation calculation will receive compensation at the end of October only if they submit a consent form for the compensation payment after being notified of the objection review results.
