Attorney Kim Gwan-jeong, Former Suwon High Prosecutors' Office Chief, Opens Law Practice
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] Former Suwon High Prosecutor Kim Kwan-jung (Judicial Research and Training Institute class 26) opened a private office in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 26th and started working as a lawyer.
He was classified as a 'pro-Moon Jae-in government' figure within the prosecution and resigned after the Yoon Seok-yeol government took office.

Former High Prosecutor Kim was commissioned as a prosecutor at Incheon District Prosecutors' Office in 1997 and worked as head of the Special Investigation Division at Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office, Crime Information Officer 1 at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, head of Pyeongtaek Branch of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, and head of Goyang Branch of Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office. During the latter half of the Moon Jae-in administration, he was promoted to chief prosecutor in 2020 while Choo Mi-ae was Minister of Justice, and successively served as head of the Criminal Affairs Department at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office and chief prosecutor of Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office. In 2021, during former Minister of Justice Park Beom-gye's tenure, he was promoted to Suwon High Prosecutor.
