SSG.com Sells Unique Fruits from Jeju Island... "From Shine Muscat to Yonggwa"
Selected Representative Fruit Products... Available for SSG Delivery and Dawn Delivery
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SSG.com announced on the 24th that starting from the 25th, it will begin selling unique fruits grown in Jeju Island, including Black Sapphire grapes, Shine Muscat, Apple mango, and 'Yonggwa (Dragon fruit)'.
These products have been selected as representative fruit items of the premium supermarket SSG Food Market and can be purchased through SSG Delivery and dawn delivery from the online-exclusive logistics center NE.O. SSG.com, together with its partner company Dalkom Tree, conducted taste and quality tests over three months to present Jeju-grown fruits of the highest quality to customers.
The Black Sapphire grapes grown in Jeju Island are cultivated in glass greenhouses rather than vinyl greenhouses, ensuring uniform quality. The Shine Muscat is a product from producer Moon Jeong-yeop, Jeju's first producer of this variety, and the Apple mango is grown by master cultivator Kim Myung-guk. The Dragon fruit was sourced from the first domestic farm to cultivate it.

An SSG.com representative said, “As soon as we heard about the new varieties earlier this year, we visited Jeju farms in person to carefully examine the cultivation environment and made every effort to manage quality for high sugar content. We will continue to discover new fruit varieties produced domestically, seek win-win solutions with farms, and offer high-quality products.”
