Construction Employees Voluntarily Raise Funds for Flood Recovery and Disaster Victim Support
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Korea Housing Finance Corporation recently donated 50 million won to the Community Chest of Korea to support the rapid recovery and aid for disaster victims in the central regions including the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Chungcheong, which were affected by heavy rainfalls.
Employees of HF Corporation voluntarily raised funds to help residents in the affected areas return to their daily lives quickly. The donated funds will be used to support the livelihoods of disaster victims affected by the heavy rain and to deliver relief supplies.
President Choi Jun-woo said, “HF Corporation employees participated in the donation to support the swift recovery and quick return to normal life in the areas severely damaged by the sudden heavy rainfalls,” adding, “The corporation will continue follow-up support by assessing the damage status and scale.”
