Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Confirms Ko Jae-sul as Open Auditor

According to the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education on the 23rd, Ko Jae-sul, Director of Goheung Lifelong Education Center, was chosen through a public recruitment process as the new open-position auditor.
The appointed auditor Ko Jae-sul is scheduled to be officially appointed on the 1st of next month after undergoing procedures such as checking for disqualifications. The position is classified as a Grade 3 general service level.
The Office of Education publicly recruited through its website on the 19th of last month, announced the successful candidates of the document screening on the 4th, and finalized the appointment candidate through an interview exam (Selection Examination Committee) on the 12th.
The main duties include ▲establishing, coordinating, and handling audit plans ▲attending and processing results of National Assembly audits, Board of Audit and Inspection audits, Ministry of Education audits, and administrative audits ▲auditing affiliated institutions of the Office of Education ▲establishing public service discipline and promoting integrity policies ▲investigating and handling petitions and complaints, and performing overall audit tasks.
Appointed auditor Ko Jae-sul is a current public official serving as a Grade 4 senior secretary at Goheung Lifelong Education Center and is expected to be a suitable candidate capable of enhancing objectivity and expertise in the audit field.
In particular, during his tenure as head of the Labor-Management Policy Division at the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, he is evaluated as a figure who smoothly resolved conflicts with the Office of Education and related institutions through a rich personal network and formed a broad cooperative system.
Appointed auditor Ko Jae-sul stated, “To realize the 4th term of resident-elected Jeonnam Education Transformation, I will strengthen the internal audit function and establish it as a system and institution,” and added, “I will do my best to implement a clean public service society and integrity policies so that Jeonnam Education can be trusted.”

Meanwhile, appointed auditor Ko Jae-sul passed the educational administration public official exam in 1990, served as General Affairs Manager at Naju Public Library, Administrative Support Division Head at Boseong Office of Education, and head of the Labor-Management Policy Division at Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education. He is currently serving as Director of Goheung Lifelong Education Center.
