This briefing session was proposed by Governor Kim Jin-tae of Gangwon Province to the Gangwon Provincial Party of the Democratic Party of Korea on the 11th, and it was successfully arranged after the party readily accepted the proposal.
At the briefing session, they plan to share and discuss major provincial government issues such as the revision of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Act, expansion projects of SOC, and the 2023 national budget projects.
Governor Kim is expected to request bipartisan cooperation and support to ensure early realization of the province’s top priorities, including the revision of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Act, early commencement of road and railway network projects, and securing the 2023 national budget projects.
Furthermore, they plan to establish a policy cooperation model of a Gangwon-style ruling and opposition party one-team that transcends party lines, accelerating provincial development, and to continuously provide a platform for discussions with the opposition party in the future.
