Korea Forest Service Hosts 'Clean Forest Products Festival' Bringing a Small Forest to Your Table
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service and the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute are hosting the '2022 Clean Forest Products Grand Festival' with the theme of a small forest on the dining table.
According to the Korea Forest Service on the 22nd, the festival will be held online and offline from September 24 to October 16 (55 days).
Online, the festival will take place in the 'Clean Forest Products Grand Festival Pavilion' on Naver Shopping and Post Office Shopping, where consumers can purchase about 500 forest products from over 130 companies at discounted prices.
The offline event is scheduled to be held from October 14 to 16 at the Daejeon Expo Citizen's Plaza. On-site, a 'Forest Products Market' will be set up where producers and consumers can meet directly to trade clean forest products.
In particular, at the offline venue, various experiential events using forest products will be held, such as forest product cooking classes, making wooden tableware (cutting boards, butter knives), and brewing wild ginseng liquor, providing citizens with attractions and hands-on activities.
