ABL Life Strengthens Second Half Sharing Activities with Resumption of 'Face-to-Face Volunteer Service'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] ABL Life announced on the 19th that it will strengthen its sharing activities in the second half of the year by resuming face-to-face volunteer activities with employees for the first time in three years.
On the 18th, ABL Life employees conducted volunteer activities at Cheongun Childcare Center in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, supporting children's creative activities and cleaning the facility. On that day, employees engaged in sharing activities by making sandwiches with 21 lower-grade elementary school children and cleaning the kitchen and playroom used by the children.
An employee who participated in the volunteer work said, “Until now, I have consistently participated in non-face-to-face volunteer activities such as creating volunteer kits and delivering them to children, but practicing volunteering by meeting children directly and spending time together seems to deepen the meaning of sharing. I hope more employees will experience the joy of face-to-face volunteering.”

An ABL Life official said, “Depending on the trend of COVID-19 spread, from the second half of this year, we plan to resume monthly face-to-face volunteer activities called ‘Sharing Day’ while complying with quarantine rules, as well as year-end briquette sharing and kimchi sharing volunteer activities. We aim to bring warm support to the lower-income groups who have been in desperate need of helping hands due to the decrease in face-to-face volunteering.”
