Since the 5th, Air Busan recruited local students interested in watching the movie and attending the special lecture through its official SNS channels. The number of applicants exceeded the capacity within three days, drawing significant attention.
The approximately 130 students who participated in the event watched the movie Emergency Declaration and then attended a special lecture to learn about various response procedures related to aircraft disasters and safety accidents.
An Air Busan training instructor, who is responsible for the actual safety education of cabin crew, participated as the lecturer and conducted in-flight safety education tailored to the participants' level, covering topics such as ▲procedures for handling unruly passengers onboard ▲guidance on aircraft terrorism cases and response procedures, thereby enhancing engagement and understanding.
There was also time for students to ask questions about points they were curious about while watching the movie and to consult about careers in the aviation industry.
An Air Busan official said, “Not only cabin crew but also many students aspiring to become flight crew, flight dispatchers, and other airline professionals asked passionate questions about their career paths, heating up the atmosphere on site.”
The official added, “This unique talent donation activity combining a movie and a special lecture provided participating students with fresh enjoyment and useful information simultaneously, making it a meaningful time. We plan to continue social contribution activities that support the dreams and talents of local students.”
Air Busan conducts the ‘Air Busan Dream Campus’ annually, providing local students with job training and resume development opportunities, contributing to the cultivation of aviation professionals.
